Sustainability Communication at Point of Purchase - A Study of Innovative Practices:

Stratos and Industry Canada are pleased to announce the release of a study exploring innovative practices in communicating sustainability with consumers at the point of purchase.

Communicating sustainability to consumers requires careful attention to product sustainability performance. Based on the results of a study that investigated the practices of seven leading companies, the study demonstrates how innovators are linking performance and communication, engaging consumers to reduce lifecycle impacts, and ensuring the accuracy of sustainability claims.

Green Marketing Gets Real is a practical tool to help Canadian retailers and producers of consumer products better understand, plan for, and capitalize on sustainability communication at point of purchase. Based on the insights of the seven innovators, Green Marketing Gets Real helps companies with the "Why", "What", and the "How" of sustainability communication.
